WHY I’M RUNNING
Unopposed should never mean unaccountable.
District 39 deserves a choice.
This election was headed toward the ballot with only one candidate listed for Georgia House District 39. Now voters have another choice.
Yashica Marshall is running as a qualified write-in candidate because true representation puts listening first—even across disagreement, even when resident feedback challenges personal beliefs, and especially when long-term community futures are on the line.

I’m not running to tell Mableton how to vote. I’m running to ensure an informed Mableton gets the opportunity to re-vote on its future.
— Yashica Marshall
WHAT WOULD ACTUALLY HAPPEN?
A revote means the people decide.

Legislation
Yashica introduces and supports legislation authorizing Mableton residents to vote on the question.

Referendum
If enacted, qualified Mableton voters would be presented with a YES / NO referendum on disincorporation.

The voters decide
Under the current draft, disincorporation occurs only if more than half of the votes cast approve it.
Not politicians. Not special interests. The voters.
BEYOND MABLETON
A different kind of representation.
Yashica’s campaign begins with listening—but representation also requires turning what you hear into action.
BETTER HEALTHCARE ACCESS
Quality healthcare should be within reach.
With years of practical experience at the bedside as an EEG tech, in recovery spaces as a substance abuse counselor, and at the administrative helm directing hospital neurodiagnostic services, Yashica brings an authentic, patient-centered focus to expanding healthcare access.
MEET YASHICA
Change agent.
Community advocate.
Listener.
Yashica Marshall believes public service begins with a simple principle: listen first.
Her career has taken her across healthcare, science, law, compliance and organizational leadership.
But one principle has remained constant: complicated problems require people willing to listen, learn and work together.

ON THE RECORD
Transparency means honesty.
It means integrity.
You should know where your representative stands—even when you don’t agree.
Yashica believes elected officials owe their constituents something more valuable than carefully crafted political answers: the truth about what they believe, what they will support, and what they will not.
Her promise
You don’t have to agree with me on everything, but I will always listen to and consider your position in decisions that affect you and everyone I am elected to serve.
HOW TO WRITE IN YASHICA
Her name won’t be on your ballot.
You have to put it there.
